  15. John 15. God is the gardener of our souls, relentless with weeds, dedicated to bringing beauty out of the chaos so He can sit and enjoy us.
  16. This week I am spending time each day in a couple spiritual practices that feed my soul-gardening and playing guitar. What feeds your soul?
  17. Nouwen: "Two extremes to avoid-being completely absorbed in your pain and being distracted so that you stay away from the wound."
  18. At Nouwen's darkest season, he wrote, "Light and darkness, hope and despair, love and fear are never very far from each other."
  19. Engaging some difficult spiritual exploration this week. Using Nouwen's "Inner Voice of Love." I'll share some of the nuggets.
  20. @FrankViola A new magazine to add to your list...Christian Coaching Magazine, to launch next month (www.christiancoachingmag.com). Online.
