  1. Can't decide whether to label Copernicium. We try to wait for IUPAC, but we listed 112 on the table back in 1996.
  2. In Houston near the Galleria this week. Anything interesting to do around here?
  3. Facebook: page name reserved: http://www.facebook.com/per...
  4. Design: in an attempt to reduce clutter and create white space, search moved to top right and logo removed.
  5. Bug: WebKit scrollWidth fixed in: http://trac.webkit.org/chan...
  6. Bug: after a binary build search in an OS X VM, determined the scrollWidth bug was introduced here: http://trac.webkit.org/chan...
  7. Bug: WebKit (Safari/Chrome) incorrectly returns viewport size for documentElement.scrollWidth, totally breaking auto fit to window.
  8. Removal: ads are underperforming to the point that they're not worth the eyesore. For $30 a day, you can claim the only advertising spot.
  9. Element 112 officially recognized: http://bit.ly/xVea2
  10. Addition: Hungarian.
  11. So much for @bing; the best periodic table is nowhere to be found in the results. Most of the results are mid-90's throwbacks.
  12. @HTC Thousands will pay any price to import the Advantage sucessor (Thoth) if you just include the USA 3G bands.
  13. @Sum1Else Catching undirected keystrokes is how Firefox searches, and I never want to interfere with a browser's built-in ergonomics.
  14. @johnfbraun If you'll go to my site and click Properties, Discovered, and then slide, you'll see the poster was current from 2001 to 2004.
  15. Fix: electron shell numbers now calculated from configuration string. Minor mismatches for lawrencium and technetium fixed.
  16. Fix: now check document.documentElement.offsetWidth instead to filter out multiple onresize events in IE8. Autofit re-enabled.
  17. Debug: automatic fit on resize disabled until IE8 solution is found http://stackoverflow.com/qu...
  18. Debug: in IE8, onresize fires when scrollbars appear/disappear and clientWidth doesn't include them, a double whammy against my autoresize.
  19. Workaround: IE8 reached 3%, so its writing-mode bug has been hidden. No more pretty sideways text for chemical series except in IE7/6.
  20. IE8 is out. Writing-mode severely broken in standards mode. Collapsed table borders and :hover regressions in compatibility mode. How sad.
