  1. Who's going to introduce me to the cupcake girl? http://foodiefriday.wordpress.com/2009/11/27/ I think I have a pretty good in.
  2. Change: Halloween theme. Enjoy. Today only.
  3. And thanks to the third birthday gift buyer. Would you believe my girlfriend had a periodic table cookie cake made for me? Pics coming soon.
  4. Thanks to the two people who bought me Blu-Rays from my wishlist for my birthday. http://amzn.com/w/1L9Z95Q7I5R94
  5. Addition: Czech.
  6. Re: new circular table. Strangeness is a handicap. For every iota you are novel, you must compensate doubly in caliber. This layout doesn't.
  7. Cite for IUPAC provisional recommendation on naming element 112: http://bit.ly/vvJXT
  8. 112=Cn. "…proposal…that Cp be the symbol…was…not…acceptable...because this symbol had…been used for…71…which…had cassiopeium as an alt…"
  9. Moved up to position two on @Google for "periodic table." Even got Sitelinks!
  10. Fix: @MySQL doesn't do 4-byte UTF-8, so the field had to be changed to binary to accomodate traditional Chinese names for elements 105-108.
  11. @GoogleImages: results 4 and 12 for periodic table are both my image and both broken links (403). Been like this for months.
  12. Backend: retool of entire language detection system. Less rewriting, automatic gzip, using mod_headers, funnel everything through type-map.
  13. Addition: Properties tab now pulses to show you of its existence (like the Office Button) if you've never clicked a tab before.
  14. Implemented @Quantcast. Numbers and demographics are now showing up there for those interested in advertising.
  15. Downgrade: removed user agent UI CSS switching support to minimize number of requests.
  16. URL I'd used since 1998 (dayah.com/periodic) now redirects to Ptable.com.
  17. Moving hosting to @Linode. Let me know if there are any issues.
  18. Can't work around this @Opera bug. Sliders intermittently don't appear for Opera users. Bug goes back several versions and is still in 10.10
  19. Google now considers dayah.com to be a duplicate of ptable.com rather than vice versa, a long overdue and welcomed change.
  20. Design: trying out rounded corners on the tabs in Firefox/WebKit to draw attention to them.
