  10. The final tweet of Lost Time was heard last night. However, I plan to re-Twitter Lost Time starting November; but just 3 or 4 tweets per day

  12. I am going to lock my door & close my windows, line my walls with cork to keep out sound & spend the rest of my life writing my novel
  13. All these names were there in my memories, coming alive again with their stories, living again in my mind, born again in my great novel
  14. And then the #Verdurins and Cambremers to #Legrandin and #Jupien ’s niece and Uncle Adolph and #Morel and #Vinteuil and his poor daughter
  15. #Swann was connected both to #Odette and #Charlus and in turn, Charlus through Saint-Loup connects to the #Duchesse & the #Duc de Guermantes
  16. When I was introduced to Mlle Saint-Loup, I realized that she connected me to everyone I knew; through her mother, #Gilberte , to #Swann
  17. Even I must have aged. At one point I said “An old man like me” hoping to be contradicted. But nobody did & I saw no glimmer of protest
  18. The Princesse de Nassau, unsure whether we’d had sex in the distant past, greeted me with a fond and meaningful gaze but said nothing
  19. I realized, while we often think of old men as wise & kind, they are simply the same vain, greedy, selfish bastards they’ve always been
  20. Seeing #Bloch grown old, I realized finally that life makes its old men out of adolescents who have managed to survive the years
