  1. @prateekbhaji The man who actually did some things for India was the much maligned George Bush Jr. Everyone wants to forget him quickly.
  2. @biplab68 You work for the Tata grouyp, is it?
  3. @schoolofmom Yes, I did. It's a really cool strip. @SahilRiz The one on Kurban I mean.
  4. @biplab68 Is that so? I had no idea. But if Ratan Tata wanted him, who can stop him?
  5. @SarthakMohanty True. Except the word vacation may not exactly apply in this case. Its biting cold in Washington DC I am told.
  6. @sameersama But all foreign policy initiatives are going the same way, everywhere. Grandiloquent gestures. No real moves.
  7. @rahulbatra I would agree with you entirely. Brand Tata will not be brand Tata without its India connect.
  8. @ashish2488 Thats the impression we are left it. Flashy gestures. A grand dinner. Celebrities jostling for invites. Enduring impact? Dunno.
  9. @subhadra_72 Thank you Geetha.
  10. @mangeshwagle I guess Noel Tata is untested. But so was Ratan when JRD chose him over the big bosses in Bombay House.
  11. @mangeshwagle There's only one Tata left in the organisation and he is too junior I would imagine to take charge.
  12. @RajeevVinaik Building a real relationship based on trust. US priorities remain China, Pakistan I suspect.
  13. @bharat_k All these grand gestures of Indo-US friendship look n sound so empty, so unreal, so unnecessarily flamboyant that one worries.
  14. @shiveshr Nice to know I am not alone in my views on this.
  15. @abhijitmajumder Why dont you tweet the link to Julkio Riberio's article in MD y'day on Hasan Gafoor's interview? He has high credibility.
  16. @ankdesai Most welcome. You have to thank @twilightfairy She sends me the most amazing things at times.
  17. @anisenafp Nothing wrong at all in Tatas choosing a foreign replacement for Ratan. Except that one would wish for an Indian there.
  18. @HemantSharrma Suggest you google for it. Its a Channel 4 documentary on 26/11. Much discussed in many forums.
  19. @AvisekM Will be a loss for us in some ways if the Tatas relocate themselves overseas. But a gain in many ways. First global MNC from India.
  20. The Obama-Manmohan Singh meet has ended up as just another huge tamasha. Does work ever get done in politics?
