  1. @TCFOODFINDS It's my wedding anniversary today, bummer for all the crowds!
  2. @Jeep4x4Bear I've stepped away, but probably 10 cookies met their demise before I broke free of the spell.
  3. I guess the Thanksgiving binge-a-thon has begun. The cookies Nick made are going down mighty easily. :) Oink!
  4. @Jollyewe Best. Holiday. Song. Ever!!! :D
  5. @yankeefoxtrot I thought it was a friend of a friend deal...
  6. @MarySoberGirl tell her that I was 24 when I got married, and I regret being so young. Looking back, I was MUCH too young to marry!
  7. @MarySoberGirl depends how dirty it is. I'd probably soak it for a few hours, or just put it in there overnight.
  8. @MarySoberGirl also, don't wear it in the shower, to bed, when you apply lotion, or wash your hands. Any jewelry store will clean it free.
  9. @MarySoberGirl you can just soak it nightly in that solution and it will always sparkle.
  10. @MarySoberGirl no, the cloth won't take care of the gunk that gets under the stones or in the prongs.
  11. @MarySoberGirl if they're really dirty, use a soft bristle toothbrush (preferably a childrens because they're softer)
  12. @MarySoberGirl what kind of stones? If they're just diamonds, soak them in hot tap water with 50% ammonia.
  13. So, all the bushes are literally cut down flat to the ground. The spirea may come back, since they're hardy, but everything else is dead.
  14. @rugby8 I would have, if he would have initially said he was cutting back more than the hostas.
  15. Nick also was going to cut back all the hostas and perennials, but that apparently included all the bushes. (RIP bushes) :( He's been busy.
  16. Nick washed my kitchen aid mixer paddle thingie in the dishwasher. Aside from it not being a pretty color anymore, it's ok, right?
  17. @AuntieVera I have! (I've never met a recipe that can't use a little cream cheese) :)
  18. @MissMisery I put in a little butter, sometimes sour cream, salt, pepper, garlic, depends on what you want. You can't screw up potatoes.
  19. @MissMisery I don't use a recipe; I just throw things together and taste them until they're good. :)
  20. @sallypnut Little kids are so funny! (and wise)
