  2. I don’t believe reports of hundred of thousands of hoon gardeners in SA. Vast majority of South Australians want to do the right thing.
  3. Good news on jobs figures. New record number of people in jobs. 102,200 more jobs than in 2002. And unemployment down 0.4 to 5.3%.
  4. Delighted at 15yr high in school retention rate. 77.5% of young people finishing Yr12, getting qualifications needed to secure their futures
  5. Just attended in Salisbury the opening of St Francis of Assisi Science and Resource Centre at Thomas More College. Stunning facilities.

  11. Part of $1.4b upgrade. $500m for track resleepering and extension to Seaford, $400m for new trains,$100m for new and upgraded stations.
  12. In Gawler. Earlier announced Expressions of Interest called tomorrow for $400m electrification of metro rail.

  19. SA on track for 2nd biggest harvest in history. Crop estimate of 8.11 million tonnes. Compared to 4.7 last year and shocking 2.9 in 2006.
