  3. Well @DeboBlue, you might have noticed that I do "talk" to people, usually all 64K at once! But sometimes even 1-to-1. :-)
  4. No, @heddahfeddah but Twitter recently made it hard for me by deleting hundreds of contacts, imposing arbitrary limits, etc.
  5. Did somebody think I'd jumped the shark? Well folks no, 'cause I'm back and mo betta! Keep it comin', it's a good start! :-)
  6. It's Hunter S. Thompson's birthday. He would be 72, but he already went out with a bang, real Gonzo style http://bit.ly/Tm9cw
  7. But @greenlasagna, FriendFeed is in many ways better than Twitter and you can also use it as a real backup for your tweets!

  15. I wish I "owned" a large social network so I could share the ownership with its users. I don't need to be a billionaire! :-)
  16. @fightingmonk In most cases people do pay, at least indirectly (watch ads, provide content), but the data should be portable.
  17. RT @janhorna Facebook is now the 4th largest country measured by population http://bit.ly/q32fJ (PB: at 250M yes, not 5th!)
  18. RT @terryrott If you read the TOS for most social networks everything you post even pics or information becomes their property (PB: Exactly)
  19. Facebook's ownership is particularly scary, the world's "fifth largest country" and a virtual dictatorship, unless I'm wrong?
  20. Although we may not own large social networks, we should own our data and identities within, and these should be portable.
