So I'll go to the hospital to have my cancerous tongue tumor removed by laser surgery next Wednesday morning, Prague time.

@ I have all of the pre-op stuff out of the way, so tomorrow they will call me with a firm date, it'll probably be within a week.

@ @ The 3rd surgeon at Motol offered 2 types of surgeries, both more "modern" than others before him, I chose the laser.

A third opinion was crucial, at Motol in Prague they'll laser off my tumor & leave my tongue 70% intact, fully functional!

@ I have only Czech VZP insurance, so I have nowhere else to go for treatment than here, but at least I have the best surgeon.

@ Yes, stage one anterior tongue tumor. Could be worse, I'm lucky it was caught at this stage. Should talk and swallow OK afterwards.
