  1. @pzella got email yesterday for AACTA awards entry for short films..$260 to enter! WOAH!! you wanna know u gotta good film to pay that! lol
  2. @pzella ok cool :)
  3. @pzella yeah agree, just mean it's a good way of finding out that some of those festivals exist
  4. @pzella haha true!
  5. @pzella yeah agree a bit expensive! been a while since i entered festivals, going back to 2007-2008. it's good to find they exist though
  6. @pzella just to see what speil was, some sounded like i had a better chance of getting in
  7. @pzella @angryproduction yeah when i used to enter festivals for my short years ago i'd read descriptions in withoutabox emails
  8. is this question meant to be hyperbole shock journalism? RT @JDESTOOP80: One for Blues fans. Would you trade Bryce Gibbs for Travis Boak?
  9. @pzella @angryproduction don't enter festivals that have become full of themselves & wank fests like st kilda? lol
  10. @pzella ok cool i'll keep that in mind & tag our producer tom from @angryproduction's, this is why he needs to open up twitter more! haha
  11. @pzella not really a festival but a networking monthly film night a mate runs, but we'll be entering into festivals soon!
  12. @pzella just had to get on with it really, was told i was allowed to fast forward through it early on if shots looked fine, so i did! haha
  13. @pzella lol yes nearly..exporting soon to play at short film night tomorrow night
  14. @pzella Quality Assurance or Quality Control, or a tech check, had to tech check rushes this morning that had no sound! lol that was painful
  15. i just googled HD to SD conversion and found a site called "The Holy Grail" on how to do it. thought WOW..only to see the date "2008!" #Doh
  16. @pzella QA'd or QC'd, just watch DVDs to make sure the encoding is all good before they get released
  17. @pzella then i've had to drop all those tiffs back in & match the edit!
  18. @pzella we've exported every single shot from the short film to tiff files as the grading software likes sequential tiffs better
  19. @pzella lol yeah wow that'd be painful! almost like the workflow me and a mate have been using for colour grading a film
  20. @pzella how did you edit using film? i just can't comprehend that process, would seem so slow lol
