  8. Oops. Just realised the Hydrocortisone meds are 20mg, not 5mg. I've been taking four at a time! No wonder I'm buzzing ...
  9. @EMC42 Just got back from walk to the dairy. Getting up to the road, then up the zigzag to the dairy, felt harder than it should have done!
  10. @EMC42 Forgot to ask surgeon when I could exercise again! May start with stationary biking next week, then maybe a little walk/running.
  11. @EMC42 I think the idea is for it NOT to hurt! I'm wondering when my first run will be and how it will feel!

  16. @EMC42 I guess, but for me it's normal so I guess I just don't know any different! Doesn't stop me wanting to keep up with everyone else!
  17. @EMC42 Lucky to have lived fairly normal life. No surgery in 15 years. Have 4 autoimmune disorders. as well Bits of me don't work well!
  18. @EMC42 Old technology apparently. They replaced the shunt with a hole in a ventricle so the fluid drains that way. Let's hope this works!
  19. @EMC42 Google hydrocephalus, blocked shunt & ventriculoscopy! Was diagnosed at 6 months but have had a little trouble with the plumbing.
