  1. @LaneChaplin It looks like you have to follow me for me to be able to DM you.
  2. @timmybrister Si. Mucho dinero!
  3. @RaeWhitlock All of the NAPARC churches have much in common, but usually not enough to pull off a merger. Always some sticking point.
  4. @RaeWhitlock With ARP there is the deaconness issue as well as the sense they'd lose their identity since they date from 18th century.
  5. @RaeWhitlock The OPC and PCA have tried twice (and arguably 3 times if you count the OPC-RPCES merger effort in 75) and failed.
  6. @LaneChaplin I'll take one if you still have any!
  7. @sjcamp: @DrOakley1689 I agree as well. The last sentence makes it clear that it is an act of unbiblical compromise, IMO.
  8. RT @XIANITY: COMMUNITY: Unable to maintain charade, ACT29 church planter tearfully confesses to not liking beer. #a29
  9. RT @godandculture: Frank Schaeffer isn't "Crazy for God." Frank Schaeffer is crazy. Period.
  10. RT @RaeWhitlock: RT @johnnygrimes2 Southern Baptist Convention President Johnny Hunt diagnosed with prostate cancer. http://ow.ly/F0RZ
  11. @NWhite_GA Many years ago I heard a maxim that education is one thing that people are willing to pay more for and get less out of it.
  12. RT @DanCruver: RT @jaredcwilson: New health update from David Wayne http://bit.ly/71FNMs . Keep praying for David
  13. Man misdiagnosed as being in a vegetative state was alert all along http://bit.ly/4qDqkt
  14. Enjoyed a wonderful worship service and time of fellowship with the saints at Northshore Bible Church this morning.
  15. By pride comes nothing but strife, but with the well-advised is wisdom. Prov 13:10
  16. @RaeWhitlock But PCUSA does keep getting smaller.
  17. @RaeWhitlock Many of the opponents of deaconnesses in the PCA point to those votes coming up, as well as their other objections.
  18. @RaeWhitlock RPCNA has been ordaining deaconnesses since 1880's IIRC. Don't know when ARP started. Someone on PB would know I'm sure.
  19. @RaeWhitlock Both denoms at one point voted on whether to ordain women elders as well but it failed.
  20. @RaeWhitlock Yes and the RPCNA also. ARP was moving left years ago but has righted the ship of late.
