  1. GREAT CATCHING CATFISH in number 1 pond. Last customer caught 58 pounds!!
  2. State legislature now allows us to grow & process yellow perch here in Alabama. Check out our website "In the News". Thanks to all!
  3. We are considering adding barramundi and cobia to our products. Does anyone have information on fingerling availability in the US?
  4. Come bring your poles and bait (no live bait please) - weiners, liver, worms and artifical bait only. The catfish are biting and only 1.75/#
  5. Catfish, bass and tilapia are feeding extremely well. We plan to open the fee fishing ponds next weekend -just in time for Father's Day!!
  6. We have also planted okra, tomatoes, peppers, corn and herbs-we really are MUCH more than fish!
  7. We now have catfish fry and koi fry that we will feed up to fingerling size. We plan to open the fee fishing in two weeks' time.
  8. Bass, catfish and tilapilia are spawning in our fee-fishing ponds which will open soon.There are lots of fish just awaiting the right cast!
  9. THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of baby koi from our forced spawn. The previous fry from Gadsden State are growing well - some are quite beautiful!
  10. Planted edible & ornamental lotus plants in a 3/4 acre pond-one of the projects with Auburn Univ. It was delayed due to unusually heavy rain
  11. Now raising koi-once we introduced warm pond water, they spawned giving thousands of eggs. Special thanks to Robert Goble & Blake Alexander!
  12. Ken and Blake picking up some of our baby perch from Gadsden then back here to celebrate Blake's b/day with a trout lunch &his fav cake!
  13. There is a pair of Canadian Geese who have made a nest near one of the ponds - we are taking it as a good omen.
  14. We have now had some eggs hatch at Gadsden - how exciting! Our project appears to be successful. We will know in a few weeks. Stay tuned.
  15. Ken, Blake and Tim Adams from Gadsden State are returning from Ohio State after going to Perch School. We should be smarter than them now!
  16. The Ohio perch that spawned at Gadsden are now feeding well. We are pleased with the success so far.
