Good dog news: no worms! Bad dog news: maybe parasites in lower intestine. Lets hope sulfa drugs work. "Explosions" no fun for anyone.

Abbey vomiting & diarrhea today. Poor thing. Another $200 vet visit on Monday. Bland diet until then. (Rice, chicken breast, plain oats.)

Abbey came to us with 3 diff types of worms: ring-, hook- & whip. Delightful. Been thru 2 cycles of meds, will test again next week.

Sadie-the-adopted-cat avoids Abbey-the-adopted-dog. Result: Sadie pitterpats into the room, Abbey gets in her face then chases her. *sigh*

Easy to tell when Abbey doesn't get a walk. Yesterday she tore up the place. Today mellow after a brisk (but soggy) jaunt thru the 'hood.

At least half the dogs in Colo shelters are labs or lab mixes... my sister in North Dakota just adopted a lab mix, too.
