  1. @kiyanwang glad to hear it! Not sure when we're next in the same city... Although seeing that @ldodds of yours in Vienna next week...
  2. @kiyanwang getting maudlin in your old age? Careful, or I'll have an 8yo lend you one of her dolls!
  3. @iand huh ?
  4. @kiyanwang no chance! I've travelled with you before! ;-)
  5. @HRWPB I promise I managed to get past them all without resorting to violence. Still reckon the architects need to do something.
  6. @iand they NEVER listen... :-(
  7. @HRWPB no... but people dithering between me and home might bring on a change of heart!
  8. @iand I'll deny any knowledge of that @paulmiller... as you know... ;-)
  9. WHY can we not design an arrivals hall that keeps 'greeters' out of the way so arrivees can actually arrive? MOVE OVER, or let me shoot you!
  10. Just popped out from under the Channel. Good to have proper 3G network access back!
  11. @iandolphin24 :-)
  12. Oh look - it's raining in Brussels AGAIN. Home to East Yorkshire sunshine tomorrow night... ;-)
  13. @iandolphin24 in BA's T3 lounge next week... will see if they're still doing it... ;-)
  14. @JohnAByrne good luck, John...
  15. @Onkloud9 I guess one solution is to hype these places that provide it free; TripAdvisor, Dopplr, etc - make it easy to avoid dinosaurs?.
  16. @Fiona_Leslie commodities don't have to be free... especially when we are a captive audience and pay up. Wish it WAS free, of course...
  17. @nicoleharris Great; I'll bundle everyone up and ferry them off to Cardiff... ;-) Is it raining there too?
  18. @Fiona_Leslie wonder what the up-front cost of providing the infrastructure to rooms was? Presumably covered by now?
  19. @Fiona_Leslie I agree it's not good. They presumably charge because they *can*... and because most customers simply expense it.
  20. @iandolphin24 Agreed. Daft, tho. If cheaper, I'd buy it more - and they'd earn more. Been here since Sunday, and this is first use of it.
