  6. Just received an advance copy of "Crocodile Tears', the latest Alex Rider tale from Anthony Horowitz prior to next weeks tour. It's superb!
  7. is simply loving Alistair Moffat's "Tuscany". More of a biography of the region than a history and utterly wonderful.
  8. is off to the Pushkin Press launch of Flavia Arzeni Bianchieri's "An Education in Happiness" presented by Peter Hobday and Rüdiger Görner.

  10. has just read William Broderick's "A Whispered Name" and confirmed the first reading. It's a superb WW1 book, like Faulks' Birdsong. Read it
