ParkersCottages

  1. Getting hot and humid but hey! summer is a-coming so pull out a cold beer and light the braai!
  2. Monkey burglars break into Fisherman's Cottage, finish off the crossword puzzles and steal guest's set of false teeth. Never dull here.
  3. Come and visit St Lucia. Whales a-plenty. Glorious weather today (again)
  4. Fantastic weather - glorious day today. Come stay in St Lucia!!
  5. The bikers are heading home and St Lucia is getting quieter again, but the hippos are still getting into the garden!
  6. The Harleys are still with us for the long holiday weekend. Lots of hippo activity opposite our gates last night. St Lucia is different!!
  7. A big Harley-Davidson rally (200+ bikes), a colourful Zulu wedding AND hippos in the garden. Phew, quite a weekend in St Lucia village!!
  8. Went fishing yesterday. Good for Shad at the moment - almost a fish every cast. Beauties too and taste good (so they say!).
  9. The hippos are back in town and the whales are back (not in the village obviously, but out at sea!) so come and stay. Fishing is good also.
  10. Mopping up after last night's rain. The whales are back!
  11. Rain at last! I never thought I would hear myself welcoming rain but boy, do we need it. No hippos last night, but leopard reported.
  12. The hippos are back on the village streets. We had two big bull hippos grazing on the park last night opposite our front gates.
  13. A bit overcast here today. Finished the new driveway so access to the cottages is much improved. Lots of fisherfolk about the village.
  14. The end to another day in paradise here in sunny St Lucia. Off now to watch some cricket and enjoy a beer (or two)
  15. Now is the time you should be visiting us here in St Lucia. The weather is perfect.
  16. Another beautiful day in Paradise, here in sunny St Lucia.
  17. Getting chilly in these here parts early in the mornings now. Winter is on it's way. Can't complain though. Temp never gets below 12c
  18. Had some nice buffalo sightings but sadly no rhino. More hippo in the village and Squirrel (the cat) caught a Vine Snake
  19. A hippo in the gardens opposite us again last night. Is hippo dung good for the roses we wonder?
  20. Have evicted a frog from the office (again) and discovered the tiniest dwarf chameleon - a baby measuring 23 mm from tip to tail. Cute.
