  1. So the real question is do you want a real contingency plan or do you just want to tell an exec that you have them?
  2. Be very afraid when team members suck at writing contingency plans. Oi vey
  3. How many ways can someone say thier project status is red without really saying it is red.
  4. It really screws up your day if you have your outlook calendar on the wrong date.

  10. I love your testing strategy. Look at the docs a couple of times-done. Who needs test scripts or Quality Center. We can't have defects.

  12. This project seriously freightens me. It should be extended but implementing 2/1 anyway.
  13. Just heard a sales guy say "that is what the PMO should be doing". Little does he know they have no idea what they should be doing.
  14. PM to Analyst>>If I'm gonna spend 2 hours to help you write the project scope statement I might as well do it myself.
  15. EXTRA funding to fix current state defects that should have been accounted for in their scoping estimate. Boneheads.

  19. Listened to this book author complain about 100s of daily email. He wrote a book abt it. Never hire him as proj mgr.
