Snare tip: add around 125Hz and remove some 1k-5k for a beefy snare sound that doesn't hurt or interfere with vocals.

If you are struggling with feedback on your communicator's mic, and there is a compressor on the channel, try removing it.

Did you know that setting your faders at/near unity (0) sets you up best to mix? Much more flexibility with volume adjustments.
