  1. Just to throw another monkey wrench into the debate: wouldn't the most accurate abbreviation for Blu-Ray Discs be BRD? Like DVD?
  2. @cowboybibimbop Ha! Have to admit, it makes sense. Wonder if they sell any Soul Eater merch.
  3. Woah! Get the entire Haruhi Suzumiya (season 1) Limited Edition bundle for US $60 at RightStuf: http://is.gd/5oR2y (via @animetoday)

  6. @PatzPrime Fandom's grown more educated about Japan, so we now can choose to do so. Most fans have no clue of what's popular in Japan, tho.
  7. @debaoki I would preferred the translation ("Mischievous Kiss"). Plus, it makes sense in English!
  8. Woah! RT @cowboybibimbop: KyoAni debuts into the figurine biz with this 1/8 scale Akiyama Mio PVC. Feb 2010 release. http://bit.ly/5nObsE

  11. @Thedigitalbug But companies have been known to do bad things to their fanbases. A number of RPG companies have committed seppuku that way.
  12. @Thedigitalbug Let's say...more creative *freedom*. :-) But yeah, definitely. For how long, though?
  13. @janaiblog Yeah, possibly. Now, I enjoyed what I saw of Ouran beyond the Utena angle, but I think it was aimed at fans of that kind of show.
  14. @animealmanac The recent AIC anime adaptation of Asu no Yoichi was a practically pitch-perfect harem anime.
  15. @janaiblog FWIW, I saw Ouran as (partly) a massive parody of Utena, which was most of what I enjoyed about it. Same creators, too.
  16. @janaiblog Re: Ouran - Have you seen Revolutionary Girl Utena?
  17. @jlist That Yotsuba&! 2010 calendar is brilliant.
  18. @edsizemore Good question. I say: one should aways be digging to uncover one's true voice.
  19. @janaiblog Thanks very much! Yeah, 'twas going to reply to that comment, then realized it wasn't worth the inevitable argument.
  20. Interesting opinions on my latest YouTube video about moe: http://bit.ly/63YlzJ
