W can't excavated the truncated bath complex beneath but we are finding the tops of the truncations. Absolutely fascinating!

In northern portico the wallplaster has fallen directly onto the mortar floor below. This raises the question of whether paving was there.

The medieval walls at certain points seem bottomless and we han't find any sign of a construction cut. Proving baffling for me!

We now know the porticoed entrance to the forum cuts through a wall of the demolished baths under the forum, both cut an early road.
