  1. Rams will carry two QB's this week. Should they need an emergency third, Danny Amendola and Ruvell Martin took some snaps after practice.
  2. Jason Smith did not pass baseline tests so he was held out. He will likely take it again Thursday afternoon. Incognito likely out again.
  3. Spagnuolo: "I'd like to throw out my congratulations to Albert Pujols. I think that is terrific. He had an outstanding season."
  4. Captains for this week: @sj39, CB Ron Bartell, KR/PR Danny Amendola.
  5. Jackson is day to day with lower back soreness. Will continue to monitor. Spagnuolo says "We'll know more tomorrow."
  6. LB Chris Chamberlain was limited. He passed his baseline concussion tests and came out of practice OK.
  7. Wed. Injuries: Players who did not practice: Bulger, Jackson (back), Incognito (foot), D. Jones (illness), J. Smith (head), Karney (neck).
  8. TE Eric Butler promoted from practice squad to fill Ah You's spot.
  9. Rams MLB James Laurinaitis will be chatting live Friday at 1:30 p.m. at stlouisrams.com.
  10. Rams put C.J. Ah You on injured reserve with ACL injury. Looking at DL for a replacement today.
  11. Keep in mind, Rams will have roster spot available whether or not Bulger goes on I.R. C.J. Ah You will go to I.R. soon, creating an opening.
  12. Kyle Boller will start against Seattle. Keith Null becomes the backup.
  13. Bulger's knee MRI results in: He has a broken tibia. Out three to six weeks, no decision on injured reserve made yet.
  14. Bulger had knee soreness last week and had some swelling issues overnight. He's in the MRI right now.
  15. To clarify, that doesn't mean Bulger or Karney has been ruled out, just that they probably have the most serious ailments.
  16. Of all those injured, Spagnuolo seemed most concerned with Bulger and Karney. The rest should be able to recover in time for Sunday.
  17. On the bright side, Incognito has potential to return this week. Did some light running Monday but will still need to make strides.
  18. C. Chamberlain has mild ankle sprain and also took blow to head. Will be tested as well.
  19. Barron has mild ankle sprain. Played through it, should be OK. @sj39 has low back soreness and will be monitored this week.
  20. Mike Karney will have an MRI on neck. Leonard Little has lower back issue. J. Smith will have test on head after taking blow.
