  1. @SunshineEmpire Your tweet implies self-improvement doesn't count and that people are limited by their past, which IMO is not true #politics
  2. Putting a twittername on an official website, on the other hand, would verify it, but many fail to do this, raising doubts as to legitimacy
  3. @MorningBriefing RT: [our twitters] are maintained by POTUS staff. OP: means nothing—even phony tweets claim legitimacy #politics @valebrity
  4. Without maintenance, products don't last. Developed nations are tending toward a service-based, rather than goods-based, economy. #politics
  5. #Socialism is government ownership of not only means of production, but also maintenance & service (cf. http://tinyurl.com/4qcsc7) #politics
  6. @MorningBriefing RT: Sec. Clinton has a more agressive [sic] view on Iran than the President. OP: Compared to Iran's view, theirs are gentle
  7. Political zealots who hate their opponents also hate those who don't hate whom they hate—it leaves them hating nearly everybody. #politics
  8. @MorningBriefing Gentle suggestion: post your Twitter names on official POTUS site, so that your fans can verify—and attract more listeners!
  9. @dmooney9 But Mulroney omitted info, to preserve his reputation. Ultimately this had the opposite effect.
  10. @dmooney9 RT: Mulroney ... GST was a brave decision ... good one for the country. OP: Even separatist Bouchard said Mulroney would not lie.
  11. @valebrity Self-validation is not difficult. One could simply mention one's Twitter name on an obviously official site, but many do not.
  12. @valebrity Am curious as to why so many celebrity Twitterers do not make the effort to *validate themselves* #politics
  13. @valebrity Would be grateful if you could verify @MorningBriefing and @POTUSPressPool (both Sirius XM Radio) as legitimate Twitters
  14. @dmooney9 Lately, the Cdn press has been all over Mulroney re Oliphant inquiry into Bear Head project: http://preview.tinyurl.com/...
  15. The no. of variables in international #politics makes it much more difficult than domestic politics, IMHO. Hilary Clinton has a tough job.
  16. Political rivals have more in common w/ ea. other than w/ non-politicians, but you'd never know it from how they treat each other. #politics
  17. It would be nice if voters would stop rewarding bad behaviour, but there's no indication this is likely to happen in the foreseeable future
  18. If a thing hurts and doesn't help—whether it be politics or something else—it's pretty useless
  19. With focus on Mulroney in Canada & Pelosi in US, public attention centres on hurting individuals instead of making people happier #politics
  20. @DaveNF2G Don't restrict. Take opportunity to teach students the difference betw fact and opinion. Insist that assertions be supported.
