  7. 613 exhibitors helped sell out space for the 2009 FSR. Exhibitors are already requesting applications for 2010.
  8. Site manager Mike Adkins: We've never been that fortunate before. We have more popcorn that we can process.
  9. Popcorn production at the Molly Caren Ag Center was a success. Staff harvested 1,000 lbs of yellow corn and 800 lbs of white corn.
  10. 98-day corn faired well, also. Average yields on hybrids ranged from 160 bu/A to 227 bu/A.
  11. Assistant manager Matt Sullivan: Corn was just amazing. We are elated when we receive one field with 200 bushels.
  12. Corn at the Molly Caren Ag Center has been harvested. Farm average was 201 bushels per acre.
  13. Next FSR Vision Steering Committee set for February to plan programs for the 2010 show.
  14. FSR manager Chuck Gamble: Alignment with #Purdue has made FSR even more successful and enhanced the educational value for attendees. #ag
  15. FSR Question the Authorities offered 45 sessions ranging from energy to markets to land use. Around 1,100 folks attended.
  16. 1,855 #students learned more about the OSU College of Food, Ag and Environ. Sciences at FSR. 1,206 requested #college materials.
  17. Ohio Master #Gardener volunteers contributed 618 hours of labor to the Utzinger Garden during the 2009 FSR.
  18. The FSR Vision Steering Committee met on Nov. 10 to discuss the 2009 show and begin planning for the 2010 show.
  19. Harvest at FSR is nearly complete as the last corn field has been opened up. Yields averaging 200 bushels an acre. #farm
  20. The FSR staff harvested double crop soybeans last week. Yields ranged from 17-22 bushels per acre.
