  1. Last night I sat down and read 50 pgs of Heist Society just for fun. I've never done that w a finished book. Ever. Hopefully a good sign.
  2. Also, I really love cashmere sweaters. Maybe I'll go cram some into my purse at Ann Taylor to show the stores how awesome they are? Not.
  3. These people must not care if future books are written or published. That is a strange kind of love.
  4. Evidently there are people celebrating DON'T Read Like a Pirate (AKA steal books) day by proclaiming that they steal because they LOVE books
  5. Am I the only one who feels like they should be having a MONK series finale party?
  6. @rachelkvincent Congratulations!
  7. @maureenjohnson Do you hear a cowbell in the background?
  8. I hereby declare this National DON'T Read Like a Pirate Day (aka, downloading books illegally is stealing. And wrong. Day)
  9. @rachelkvincent Dude, I hear ya.
  10. RT @sarahreesbrenna: Inspired by @OfficiallyAlly, I have made a Post about Internet Piracy http://tinyurl.com/yf6279q
  11. @murderbooks Thanks SO MUCH! I'm thrilled you enjoyed Heist Society. Hopefully I'll see you soon!
  12. Readers ask "But what if a book is free to download?": If the author/publisher is offering it, then it's okay. If not, it's stealing.
  13. Quick reminder, world: downloading books for free is stealing. And stealing is bad.
  14. @brian_griggs I'm not surprised. Not surprised at all.
  15. Or maybe Daniel Silva makes WRITING look easy. (Although he could also be an excellent electrician.)
  16. Home (and a little in love with Daniel Silva--this guy makes wiring well look easy. It isn't.)
  17. Dear Memphis airport, if one of your restaurants would feed me that would be great.
  18. Almost all the first people on this plane got in the wrong seats. It's making life hard for those of us second on the plane.
  19. In car leaving NY. It was a fast, good trip! (hint: signed books now at Tribeca B&N!)
  20. WAKE UP!
