  2. Are you chilly? Are you eating chili? If so, head to the panhandle where highs were in the mid-upper 80s.
  3. Most lows across the state were in the 50s. Not that shocking this year...we've had plenty of lows in the 50s already, starting in August.
  4. 30s in the Panhandle this morning! 37 at Kenton, 38 at Boise City.
  5. Wind chills are in the 30s in the Panhandle, heat indices mid-90s along the Red River.

  8. Oklahoma's July was 1.5 degrees below normal and the 34th coolest on record, despite the really hot weather mid-month. Go figger!

  10. 1950s drought is the state's drought of record statistically, by the way, except for the Panhandle. Dirty Thirties out there.
  11. The state's highest rainfall (1-year) = 84.47 inches at Kiamichi Tower in 1957. Lowest = 6.53 inches in Regnier in 1956. Drought-ender
  12. So basically the SW 2/3rds of the state is in the 100s. (yawn) After a couple of weeks ago, big deal!
