  1. @SeniorPTherapis Serious data to back this up? It's awfully hard to quantify and rank all that's wrong with the modern diet!
  2. @frankogrady Yes, but now we have a new phenomenon: Hunger (not malnourishment) on the rise in same population that suffers fr obesity.
  3. @jgentzel WADR, I think you may over-estimate the role of inflammatory diet on obesity. It's def. a factor but it's not the whole story IMO
  4. Need to do a show on the difference between under/over-fed and under/over-nourished. Seems to be a lot of confusion.
  5. @_aurora1982 Yes, I did do a show on supplements. You'll find it in the archives: http://bit.ly/50FJBr
  6. Who's cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year? http://bit.ly/5nO8Mj
  7. @TreykaGirl Yup, people can be both overweight and undernourished, but how can obesity and *hunger* coexist (for long)?
  8. Have you voted yet in the People's Choice podcast awards?... http://www.facebook.com/per...
  9. @lisabmarshall OMG a hostile backchannel...another thing I didn't know I needed to worry about!
  10. @sambria right-sizing portions is just as valid as counting calories. Whatever works !!
  11. More interesting data from @IFICMedia survey: 47% overestimate their calorie requirements. #weightloss
  12. Surprising. Of people trying to lose weight, only 20% count calories. Most (70%) simply use portion control. #weightloss
  13. #weightloss according to @IFICMedia , 20% of people trying to eat healthier use a food log or diary.
  14. @IFICMedia sound quality on webinar could be better! #weightloss
  15. @DenaS yeah, but they're not talking about malnutrition, they're talking about not having enough food (any food).
  16. I'm confused by the fact that obesity AND hunger are both increasing in lower-income populations. http://bit.ly/2fo1sc
  17. @jehovahgodofgap Doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
  18. This is discouraging: growing obesity rates are canceling out gains made from decreasing smoking rates : http://bit.ly/2g6d8y
  19. Still planning your T-day spread? Some healthy sides to consider: http://bit.ly/Sb58V
  20. What the heck is a "resistant starch"? More importantly, what can they do for you? That's the topic of this week's... http://bit.ly/1WyrQ1
