  6. @rschonwald in truth? not amazing. soup was phenom, pears great, made palmiers which were tasty, but didn't work well together. oh well!
  7. things I wish I ate more often: pecan butter. maitake mushrooms. dates. not altogether, mind you.

  19. @rschonwald i was thinking some kind of crouton, but then do I make a layered trifle-like thing & lose integrity of seckel pear shape?
  20. would like recipe advice: making dessert w/warm walnut soup & poached pears. Looking for somthin crunchy or cakey to tie dish togeth. ideas?
