  5. Off to Muggleswick #NorthPennines this pm for our 2nd woodland bird ID training. Hoping for flycatchers, redstart or more woodcock at dusk.
  6. Water voles alive and well in the Langdon Beck area #NorthPennines despite the cold. Plenty of signs for all the trainees to spot.
  7. Water vole training in #Teesdale tomorrow. Hope they've not all been washed away in the recent flood conditions. Sure we'll find something!
  8. Great way to end our woodland bird training session lst night with 3 woodcock roding overhead. An earlier osprey with trout was a bonus too!
