  1. WE recycle cells phones and ink cartridges. Bring them to the library at NWKTC.
  2. The "Book Tree" is up for the holidays in the library.

  4. Collision Repair students gain certification from MItchell U for writing estimates.
  5. Diesel Tech students field trip included stops at Foley and Heston Manufacturing.
  6. Electrical students take a field trip to Denver.
  7. Engineering Bull Fry was a huge success. Thanks for attending. Can't wait for next years bash.
  8. Biodiesel technology a step closer to NWKTC thanks to the Diesel instructors, Frontier Equity and other sponsors.
  9. NWKTC Auto TEch instructor gets a perfect score on ASE L1 exam the advanced engine performance specialist test.
  10. Christmas break starts Dec 23 at noon.
  11. Be watching for the official announcement of change to NWKTC Mavericks in red/black and white in January.
  12. WE'll be sharing the gym of the fitness center with the local high school from 3:30 to 6 pm. Weight room is still open.
  13. BRRRR--it's cold outside. We're back in school after a day off because of snow.
  14. Computer Graphics students are around campus taking photos for their final project.
  15. Martin Seymour Painting certification workshop was held recently on campus for collision repair area businesses.
  16. Blood drive was a success. 94 good units of blood. 112 donors volunteered. Thanks to all for their gift of life.

  18. Sports coming to NWKTC in 2010! Wrestling with Coach Steve Lampe and Girls Golf with Coach Tammy Neal. Scholarships available.
  19. Mark Dec 10 for dinner at the Knights of Columbus for Engineering's Annual Chicken and Bull Fry night.
  20. Welcome back to campus after break. Students from various departments will be ringing the Salvation Army Bell at Wal-Mart from 4-8.
