  7. Despite any rain, growers still reporting excellent quality fruit this harvest season. Cab tasting especially great. #wine napa
  8. Konrad Vineyards: sugar concentration took a 1.2-1.3 Brix step backwards(5%)likely due to rain increasing hydration of the grapes. #harvest
  9. Thomson Vineyards finished harvesting 4 tons of Chard last week for Kelham Winery. The fruit was juicy and in the 25 brix range. #wine
  10. Warm and sunny, great weather and hoping it continues. #wine harvest
  11. We’re now in the thick of harvest as wineries are calling in their Up-Valley cabernet grapes.
  12. The ridge of high pressure after the storm will help dry things out, and get exceptional flavor development back on track. #wine harvest
  13. Kelly Maher: Still a fair amount of mountain fruit to harvest & w/ the exception of Petit Sirah & Zin, most rot prone varieties are picked.
  14. Grapegrowers happy the storm is over. Didn't see much damage. Cab can withstand rain w/ thick skins, & many other grapes already harvested.
  15. Beckstoffer-The rain shouldn’t hurt the crop unless it drags on for days and days. Cabs have thick skins, handle moisture better. #harvest
  16. Grapegrower Kelly Maher - We're cleaning up Larkmead Vineyards in the next 3 days, finishing w/ 2 blocks of Cab Franc on Monday.#harvest
  17. David Beckstoffer, wineries calling in Up-Valley cab. Although its a lighter than average crop, quality looks outstanding this year.#harvest
  18. Barbour Vineyards - keeping a close eye on the rain forecast for Tues; on the positive, Cab is very tough & could handle some rain. #harvest
  19. 90% of the Pinot in Carneros is in. Really intense dark fruit flavors. Sryah is a about a week out at this point. #wine harvest
  20. Calistoga- weather stations tipped the freezing point last week in a few spots. So far so good, but a reminder that fall is here. #harvest
