  1. Good morning. The team had a great time at my house last night as we had a big barbeque.
  2. Fielder wins a close one 6 to 5 with 3 outs to spare. Will be back tomorrow for the All-Star game.
  3. Nelson Cruz & Prince Fielder in the finals.
  4. trailing Cruz & Fielder with 11 a piece and Howard with 7 HR's.
  5. 1st round just ended with Pujols barely making it. His box was a little nervous, but he just squeezed in with 5 HR's...
  6. so you'll know who we'll be rooting for in the home run hitting contest.
  7. We've already had a change of plans. Albert Pujols invited Charlie Jr and me to sit with his family in his box...
  8. Charlie Jr and I made the trip to St. Louis with ease. The city is buzzing for the home run hitting contest tonight.

  11. It’s nice to be back in South Bend. It’s been a quiet week and the weather has been great. The team has settled into their summer routine.

  13. I’m heading in to work shortly to hang with the players as they finish their workouts.
  14. The fundraiser for Hannah & Friends was a success and enjoyed the weather and seeing several old friends.
  15. Returned yesterday from the Jersey Shore.
  16. My dogs love when I go because the housesitter tends to overfeed them. I’ll be back in South Bend on Monday. Happy 4th and Go Irish!
  17. I have a Hannah & Friends function in New Jersey tomorrow night and will spend the Fourth of July at the Jersey Shore.
  18. Last day of camp today. Coaches leave for vacation this afternoon. I’ll be around most of July, as recruiting never ends.
  19. I’ve heard from several of our veteran players that workouts are going great. I’m not allowed to be involved per NCAA rules. Go Irish!
  20. Last camp began yesterday and recruiting on campus has been very active.
