  1. Back to work. Thanks for following me and I'll talk to you again after the season. Go Irish!
  2. Back in the office full-time on Monday.
  3. Last family commitment will be Sunday as I'm going into Chicago to watch the Yankees vs the White Sox.
  4. The players are wrapping up summer school. They report on August 7th, but practice #1 is August 8th.
  5. Last week before the assistant coaches return. They should be well rested.
  6. A pontoon boat ride for my wife, my daughter and me. Have a nice weekend.
  7. Sunday afternoon will be spent on the lake. Speedboat and tubing for Charlie Jr. and friends.
  8. Busy family weekend. On Saturday we have a Hannah & Friends dance at our rec center. The young kids go from 2-4pm and the older kids 5-7pm.
  9. Just finished with a recruit who is visiting unofficially with his parents.
  10. That's it for trips out of town. It's getting close.
  11. Got home even later than that last night returning from Chicago, where I saw a concert at Wrigley Field.
  12. Got home Monday at 1am from Yankee Stadium, where we will play Army next November.
  13. Good morning. Sorry I am a little late today. Back to back late nights.
  14. Things will get back to normal on Wednesday for me. The assistant coaches are back in two weeks. Football season is right around the corner.
  15. Tomorrow, I will spend the day in the office, then go to Wrigley Field in Chicago for a concert.
  16. When I was a kid, the Giants used to play in Yankee Stadium. Our seats were in the left field bleachers which was the endzone.
  17. Off to NYC today. Going to Yankee Stadium to clear up speculation regarding future ND-Army football game.
  18. The players left at dusk and it appears that the team camaraderie is at an all time high.
  19. Several balls went out, but Jimmy Clausen gets the award for farthest homerun. I was surprised to see Armando Allen easily put one out too.
  20. It was a beautiful night and no one was in a hurry to leave. They ate tons of food, went swimming, and had a home run hitting contest.
