  1. Contact me tomorrow Tim and I'll get you tuned into the post-fire data (on CDE) of the Station Fire.
  2. @timchavez we had a video feed but only of the forward video camera and 45 deg down "cheap" video. All data on Station Fire looks good.
  3. Shutting down ops at DFRC today. We will update with results on Twitter and at WRAP web page.
  4. Ikhana completed Station Fire data collect and sensor cal tests and landed at DFRC / EAFB at 2:42 PM (Pacific) (22:42 UTC). Mission success!
  5. Done imaging over Station Fire. Six single pixel hot spots located, all false detects (tin roof / water tank roofs). Post-burn data VG,
  6. The Ikhana entered the NAS at 11:39:30 AM (Pacific) today to fly the Station Fire!! Haven't been in NAS for over a year!!
  7. Ikhana T/O at 0744 AM Pacific (15:44 UTC)
  8. Mission profile for today approved by FAA. T/O planned for 8:00 AM Pacific. Collect sensor cal / test sites in EAFB Range and Station Fire
  9. Mission plan tomorrow, same as for today, but pre-flight brief at 6:00 AM and T/O at 8:00 AM.

  11. Official Ikhana Landing at Edwards AFB at: 11:11:17 AM Pacific (19:11:17 UTC)
  12. Ikhana RTB due to crosswinds at landing-runway above 13kts limit for ops. Kramer Junction (Four Corners) geo-cal site only collect today.
  13. Ikhana T/O at 9:29:15 AM Pacific (17:29:15 UTC) Delay for hour for good sun angles, then collections start
  14. Ku up and operational, Ikhana on Taxi for soon T/O.
  15. All data collects would still occur, but without real-time relay...data still available post-mission on CDE and ftp as usual.
  16. Still in mission delay troubleshooting Ku. May go with backup and fly on C-band (DLOS), which would preclude real-time data telemetry.

  19. With the arrival of wet weather, western fire season over. Team ready for quick reaction to wind driven events that can extend season in Cal
  20. Given the few fires in the west, the weather, and existing resources available (incl NIROPS), we rescheduled the next WSFM to Thursday 10/15
