  1. @Francesca25 thanks for the RT - hope the animation made you smile! We have all met them haven't we? :)
  2. @corewarrior pleased you liked it. Hope all is good your side of the pond?
  3. 'The Social Media Guru' http://bit.ly/8duo26 <- Be aware contains strong language but sums up the army of 'Experts' brilliantly. Enjoy!
  4. Exploring Google Analytics "Intelligence" dimension. Not quite what I first thought. Will still user "browser" to gauge "Intelligence" :)
  5. Facebook users should be wary of attempts to steal passwords - http://bit.ly/2tw7TC
  6. @tbains Agreed. The identity is tangible and easy for them to relate to. And yet a logo is not required by many start-up micro businesses...
  7. @tbains feels like in a desperate bid to increase their value, they have decided to be brand experts or web consultants. Oh dear!
  8. @tbains designer do what their skills permit. Micro biz buy what their meagre budgets allow. Could they afford brand strategy consultancy?
  9. @tbains I think the latter get confused because the former sometimes don't seem to understand the difference. Blind leading the blind?
  10. @splashtech I just hope somebody reads it :) Have a good weekend.
  11. @splashtech that is a good question. I will write a blog post in the week to answer it properly. ( > 140 chars! )
  12. @wireframebox agreed :)
  13. @wireframebox but surely that is the whole problem... if all you have is a VI and no brand defined, then you really are in trouble. (IMO)
  14. RT @PauleyCreative: Just had a DM from the Dalai Lama... obviously, I was moved spiritually, but it did seem to have a heavy e-commerce ...
  15. @findenlake or the guys that hand wash your car telling you that they are automotive engineers.
  16. @PauleyCreative LOL
  17. @splashtech visual identity needs to reflect the brand - but that is about all.
  18. @splashtech I don't think it would, no. People claim that, which is why customers end up thinking their logo is their brand...
  19. @wireframebox visual identity should reflect the brand. But not really "part of" imo.
  20. @findenlake agreed
