  1. Meeting Louis Theroux. When I say meeting, I mean crossing Euston Road at the same time as him.
  2. Suddenly realising that I haven't tweeted for almost a month. I think I have a problem with brevity.
  3. Listening to the first airing of Michael Jackson's new song. It sounds like it was recorded after a good dose of propofol.
  4. Back in Brighton, and needing a week to recover.
  5. I had no idea you could get so many people on one underground train.
  6. Crossing London in the middle of the Friday night rush hour. It's like Picadilly Circus around here.
  7. Admiring Durham Cathedral at 80mph.
  8. Exploring the charity shops of Newcastle. I knew it was a good idea to leave the conference early.
  9. Watching the fog on the Tyne. Frankly you're welcome to it.
  10. Happy Birthday Amelie! xxx
  11. If anyone knows how many eyes a bee has, can they text me. We're trying to win a quiz here.
  12. Watching the sun set over Newcastle and wondering how I'm going to stay awake for dinner at 8pm.
  13. Looking at the Angel of the North through a train window.
  14. On the 9am train from Kings Cross to Edinburgh. I hope it stops at Newcastle.
  15. Watching the sun come up over Battersea Power Station.
  16. Feeling slightly concerned that the weather forecast says it'll be 7 degrees in Newcastle tomorrow & I've only packed a short sleeved shirt.
  17. I think keenness like that is a form of mental illness.
  18. Arriving at my clinic half an hour before it's due to start, and finding my first patient already waiting for me.
  19. Sitting in a consulting room in Crowborough Hospital reading their resuscitation policy.
  20. Looking at the dark clouds over Horsham Hospital and wishing I'd brought a jacket. Or a boat.
