@ You could remove the hard disc, put it in an external usb caddy, and copy your data to the drive of another pc, then use recovery

@ disc and reboot, see if it gives you the option to repair a current installation. Or if it's acer's recovery software. (not good)

@ Get your Windows CD and do a repair install. It'll replace the system files and keep data intact.
