  1. Our little Mighty Mustang students were splendid on stage performing "The Nutcracker Ballet", and other beautiful songs & dances!!!
  2. Thank you Fonville! Our Winter Program celebrated at Fonville every year is part of Moreno traditions.
  3. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer visited Moreno. Great play!

  5. Our Mighty Mustang spellers are doing great in our school Spelling Bee!!! We wish them good luck!
  6. Joyous Grandparents Celebration!!! Moreno families are thankful for our great school!
  7. 40 Moreno Parents attended today Statewide Parental Involvement Conference at Westin Galleria. Great learning 4 them.
  8. Exciting teachers volleyball game! WhiteLighteningTeam #1 was awesome! BlueTeam did a great job! Thrilled students cheering 4 favorite team.
  9. Disney on Ice presenting “100 Years of Magic" was a thrilling experience for our Honor Roll "Mighty Mustang" Students.
  10. Around 200 students & 50 staff members are reading and having fun in our 5th Annual Reading Sleepover. Lots of reading activities!
  11. PTA meeting on Tuesday, November 10 at 5:00 p.m. All Moreno community is invited!
  12. Moreno family celebrated our 5th Annual Fall Festival! Dunking booth, food, spooky house, games, raffle and great prizes. It was a blast!!!
  13. Today after school 3rd grade teachers welcomed parents for a successful meeting. Important academic issues were presented & discussed.
  14. Beautiful Hispanic Heritage Program today Friday! Our Mighty Mustangs from K - 5 were oustanding on stage with great performances!
  15. Our students from PPCD and Life Skills classes are enjoying a learning field trip to the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
  16. UofH Cougars women's basketball team is visiting us today. They'll talk with students about the importance of college & run bball drills.
  17. Thank you to Ms. S. Robertson, marketing consultant for Lupe Tortilla's Restaurant. She was our "Principal for a Day" on Wednesday, Oct 21.
  18. We want to thank Mr. Goggin, Mr. Ibarra, Mrs. Moreno and officer Jones for attending our "Read for the Record" event. GRACIAS!!!
