  1. Blog for the Agile2010 conference (August 9-13 in Nashville) : http://agile2010.wordpress....
  2. @dhemery Russell's teapot; random link from Google: http://talk.thinkingmatters...
  3. @kimgr By "manage" I mean the same thing I'd mean in the context of managing a bakery. Does that help ? I'm not sure what you mean by "lead"
  4. @elefevre You can find them in iTunes store too.
  5. In a four-star hotel, if (say) my toilet is broken I expect a fix, apologies. If the WiFi is broken, that's like bad weather, unfixable.
  6. Coming round to @jamesmarcusbach's Quality is Dead thesis; mostly owing to WiFi and hotels. I'm convinced it's reversible though.
  7. @jamesmarcusbach Your "Quality is Dead" blog promised ideas of things to do about it. Nudge nudge ?
  8. @patrickwelsh Cryonics is mostly predicated on nanotech being able to repair your brain. Next to that, restoring your body will be easy.
  9. @jamesmarcusbach Have you come across edupunk ? If so, what do you think ?
  10. @patrickwelsh I've been investigating cryonics, initially as idle curiosity, a little more seriously these days. Price - reasonable.
  11. Finally reached the end of the wonderful "How to Think About Science" series of podcasts today. Strongly recommended.
  12. @rachelcdavies One type of book poses deep and important questions, the other broadly surveys practice in the field; both are useful.
  13. @rachelcdavies "Exploring Reqts" is a must-read, I also like and recommend "Mastering the Requirements Process" by the Robertsons
  14. To bake good donuts you must know things about flour, butter, etc. To manage software efforts you must know about software-as-material.
  15. RT @keithb_b "Software does have a particular nature and particular properties" from http://bit.ly/5GIlqV (good read)
  16. @patrickwelsh I've made my peace with both the possibility of dying and the possibility of living forever.
  17. @hemalkuntawala Can't say much more in a tweet, but we could continue over email.
  18. @hemalkuntawala It's a game/simulation which models software testing as a sampling process, using bags of colored marbles.
  19. @tobiasgmayer "Perfectly" expressed ? Hmm... How might we express it as a question ? Would that improve it ? ;)
  20. Played @JerryWeinberg's Quality Game today with my students from China. Love this game - always fun even with (as here) reserved students.
