  1. So training for a mini triathalon. I went on a 4mi run, 10mi bike, and 500yr swim on Monday. So sore today! 2nd day always gets me!
  2. Barnett Rose of Pinot. Mmmmmm...
  3. Smoked tri tip, dads famous homemade beans, cheesy garlic bread, salad and don't forget the blackberry pie...man! I'm full! Great bbq!
  4. Dehlinger Winery, 1981 Pinot Noir. Throwing some brick color around the edges, great nose. Not passed at all! 28 year old Sonoma pinot!
  5. I'm up, I've unpacked, I need to get organized, but I'd rather go swim a few laps:)
  6. Back in St Helena until Friday. Is there anything fun going on?!
  7. I'm thinking a bottle of '99 Merryvale Profile tonight. Special occasion? Its Monday! Ha!
  8. @CorkSurfer I know! I like the way you think!
  9. Can't think of a reason not to cut my hair...other than my guy likes long hair. It grows back! Should I or shouldn't I?!?!?!?!?!
  10. @BayAreaGetaways Even if its smokey on the finish? HMM....I'm going to have to buy a bottle of it, La Reverie...I'll let you know.
  11. Smokey rose! Any thoughts? I usually grab a rose for the bright fruit and crisp notes, not smoke. What do you think?
  12. Just did a nice little bike ride. I'm not sure how many miles, ill clock it later and report back:) Triathalon training underway!!!
  13. My first triathalon 9/27/09! Mermaid Triathalon in Santa Cruz. It's a short one, so I should make it! 0.25mi swim, 11mi bike, 2.5mi run!
  14. Coffee, then swimming, then bank, then I'm going to buy my new road bicycle!!! I'm thinking its going to be triathalon time!
  15. Ok, I really have to go this time. Study time.
  16. @vinography Hmm....interesting. You got my wheels turning:)
  17. @KevinZraly In my opinion, you left out two big ones: San Luis Obispo & Santa Cruz. Cool climate chard has much more going on than hot
  18. @vinography Sweet tannins? Is that a figure of speech? Tannins aren't sweet....just curious:)
  19. @kristenscott I thought I was crazy being in both fields, then again there are lots of proven health benefits to drinking wine in moderation
  20. I have to go now...I must get motivated to study for my personal training test in Sept! SO much to learn, SO little time! NASM all th way!
