  1. PLAN 903.03: Placement details were added for Type 3 Object Markers at obstacles. This should help get better installations in the field.
  2. PLAN 608.10: The wait is over! Fully ADA compliant sidewalk & ramp details are here. Follow this plan and see your ADA troubles disappear!
  3. PLAN 608.00: Now tells you what to do when a sidewalk crosses a street, a commercial entrance, or a private driveway.
  4. SPEC 1029: Supplemental forms for casting prestressed concrete girders may now be made of non-metallic materials.
  5. SPEC 504.3: MoDOT will now inspect the aggregate base under bridge approach pavements.
  6. SPEC 503.3: MoDOT will now inspect the aggregate base under bridge approach slabs.
  7. SPEC 502.6: The proper equipment has to be used to ensure that curing compound is uniformly mixed prior to application.
  8. EPG 806: Guidance given for post-runoff inspection and inlet protection. Many erosion control items (ditch checks, berms, etc.) were added.
  9. CLASS 3 EXCAVATION: If you’re 100% sure of what'll go into the trench, then pay for Class 3! Drop inlets? Yes Group pipe? Not so much
  10. PLAN 901: Some of the dimensions (foundation, height, and width) for single-slope barrier were corrected on Sheet 4.
  11. EPG 751: Since stay-in-place forms are considered falsework, certified welders are not necessary for their installation.
  12. SPEC 409: All limestone or dolomite aggregates used in chip sealing must be pre-coated or fog sealed to gain a dark appearance.
  13. SPEC 502: The rate of concrete curing compound applied has been decreased, producing both a good cure and improved sawing conditions.
  14. SPEC 617: A retainer bolt and nut are required for the lock pin of two-loop style of temporary concrete traffic barrier.
  15. PLAN 732: Safety bar requirements for pipe ends were moved to the EPG, and references to the bar grate system were removed altogether.
  16. PLAN 616: Orange flags and striped warning rails have been added to certain work zone signs in order to draw more attention to them.
  17. PLAN 620: Details for yield lines (sometimes called “sharks’ teeth”) have been added to sheet 5.
  18. PLAN 732: Decision matrix for pipe end sections was moved to the EPG. Pipes 24” & less in diameter no longer need safety slope end sections.
