  1. Hurrah! Opening night has come and gone!! Great fun, a packed house, and this triple threat is exhausted . . .
  2. @CharlieCircus This isn't the Beth Henley play, is it?
  3. @BumbleWard Too kind! Thank you so much . . .
  4. . . . opened dishwasher instead of oven to insert baking sheet of cookies. Oy. But still: baking at 10:23 p.m.? Mother of the year? ;-}
  5. Preview perf. 2nite 4 professional actors & directors. Much fun!. But now, so tired while baking 4 daughter's class that I . . .
  6. @K_Line Oh dear! That's why I would never (could never) homeschool . . .
  7. Entering final rehearsals: dress-ish 2nite; preview/dress tomorrow; debut Friday! Oy. Oy. Oy. Will be here as much as possible!
  8. Drinking Peet's holiday blend coffee. Usually avoid any "seasonal" coffee blends (b/c I am a cynical consumer), but this is very good.
  9. Dreading 45 min. drive to salon today for touchup avec 4-yr. old boy with crusty snuffles in tow. All this on eve of snowstorm.
  10. @K_Line Yeah--now try to look good on stage doing it!!
  11. Singing "e" through an "ahh"-sound shape. Oy.
  12. Transforming sharps into--well, prettier sounds!
  13. Am crazy exhausted yet revved up from full perf. rehearsals. Going to copyedit some Hawthorne to calm down before 2nite's rehearsal.
  14. @quinncy I was miserable during my daughter's ninth year--everything too big or too small. And at age 10, sizes 10-12 not much better!
  15. @K_Line Twas part of their daily morning "chapel" experience. I intend to investigate . . .
  16. What an incorrect message to send out. And BTW, L Logs are for age-appropriate play, not class-app. play. Do Legos also code "poor"?
  17. and poor fams have Lincoln Logs. Of course my children have L. Logs and were traumatized! So: wealthy fams have tech; poor fams don't. . .
  18. In all seriousness, high-school kids taught grades k-4 yesterday that rich fams have PSP, middle-c fams have Nintendo DS, . . .
  19. @MyMarrakesh I may have the perfect shirt for you ;-) http://misscavendish.blogspot.com/2009/12/proud-as-liberty-peacock.html
  20. @WendyBrandes Whither his PJ comment? I think that mine own are tres chic . . .
