  1. My husband's ribs are slow cooking even as I tweet.
  2. Rice is excellent comfort food when life gets difficult.
  3. Roasting chicken with vegetables tonight.
  4. The flu is no fun. Tomato soup and egg-salad on toast.
  5. Roasting chicken and squash on a dark autumn night.
  6. My husband had to work tonight, but he left me a caramel apple and a love note. Such riches!
  7. Craving bite-size Snickers bars. Finally had one...or two...or...
  8. Brr! The final farm market of the season was chilly. I loaded up on potatoes, onions, quash, pumpkins and eggplant.
  9. Nothing is prettier than the colors in this weeks farm box. Purple, green, red, yellow, crimson, brown, yellow, gold. Mouth watering!
  10. This weekend my CSA box included zucchini, crookneck and pattypan squash, onions, pears, plums, lettuce, Italian kale, and cucumbers.
  11. Supper was simple: Potatoes, tomatoes and cole slaw. But it's popcorn tonight!
  12. My husband made the season's first chili last night. It's coolish here in Wisconsin, in the 70s during the day and the 40s at night.
  13. My CSA box included onions, eggplant, zucchini, potatoes, beet, greens and lots of herbs. What will I do with it? Check out my blog!
  14. On Saturday, I bundled some parsley and hung it on a peg in my back room - just what Grandma Annie used to do, which intrigued me.
  15. I'm mad for Mediterranean Three Cheese potato chips from Kettle - almost as good as Brett's Olive Chips, which we found at Leclerc in 2005.
  16. I'm on a quest to discover my favorite Riesling. So far, Washington State wines are winning the contest.
