  1. Ang Lee makes incredibly boring films.
  2. :) You should throw some absolute codswallop into the mix randomly and see if it gets picked up.
  3. @suzybie Ah, the Times lurkers scanning for content again?
  4. @suzybie Mobile phones play havoc with microphones, in fairness.
  5. @mrs_bopp It's The Panel's equivalent of the guest having a book. Free advertising.
  6. Some choppy edits on The Panel.
  7. Overheard a guy coming out of 2012, "Well, that was shit".
  8. Bad John Cusack film: 2012. In cinemas now. Good John Cusack film: Say Anything. On Channel 4 at 00.55.
  9. @adventsparky There's a new CoTC?
  10. @adventsparky You have me curious to ask R. Zemekis who he thinks his market is. Did you see Beowulf?
  11. @adventsparky Definitely an element of formula balancing going on, ya. Whole pointless action seq added near end in case folks are bored.
  12. @adventsparky ..and using a ten second shot for no reason (other than 'look at my graphics') repeatedly is boring - for any viewer.
  13. @adventsparky Impossible to figure out that unless you have very narrow target. Director is director to make choices.
  14. @adventsparky Perhaps you're right about film blog.
  15. Good things - backgrounds are incredible, ghost of chrirtmas yet to come subtly creepy, sometimes.
  16. @Adventsparky Not really. We're going to Tiny Tims house for the third time - does the viewer need the whole journey AGAIN?
  17. @Adventsparky Used to ludicrious levels here. Over 20-30 times. Film way too scary/odd for kids really.
  18. Zemeckis could do with remembering some real-world limits. Zoom thru London for 20th time or just cut? Which is better for viewer?
  19. @jonathangrimes Unless a remit created for it, can't see it happening. Maybe as a video podcast if ads or subs could support.
  20. @eirepreneur Technically things have improved. Zemeckis needs to remember point of direction. Rollercoaster sections utterly pointless.
