  1. Fantastic home-made (Kathie-made) New York Strip (rare), twice baked potatoes, and parmesan ciabatta bread. Acadia Pinot Noir perfect match.
  2. Need to set up an Outlook filter that auto-deletes any e-mail that just contains the word "thanks". Am I just mean/heartless?
  3. Weather.gov reports unofficial total of 21.5 inches in Great Falls as of 7:20pm Saturday. Our deck tonight: http://yfrog.com/3gzf3j
  4. Buy my 24" iMac on eBay! Still under warranty! $1 starting bid! http://bit.ly/6LNgrn
  5. This snowstorm is brought to you by the letter C. http://yfrog.com/4aumjj
  6. Forecast upgraded yet again. Now 12-24 inches. Should be interesting to see what really arrives (news hype vs. reality).
  7. @hvprash Yeah knew about HSI :-) but figured all our new hires were from the local area...
  8. @kathiefischer Nice. I got two comments at 8am this morning for my cart full of 14 ice creams and all the toppings.
  9. @hvprash Are you new to VA?
  10. "AccuWeather.com Senior Meteorologist Alex Sosnowski says the D.C. region could see as much as 10 inches of snow on Saturday."
  11. Overkill. http://yfrog.com/4ikoqoj
  12. If you bought a new iMac and it takes ~1 minute to boot up, go to preferences -> startup disk and select your hard drive. Now takes 20 secs.
  13. After a year of relative stability, AOL Radio for Mac has crashed 3 times in the last 20 minutes. Something going on at AOL?
  14. Perfect day for hot chocolate.
  15. I know there's that whole "gift horse / mouth" thing, but really, if you're sending employees free DVDs, at least make them widescreen!
  16. Any recommendations on headphones < $100? Prefer over-the-ear for sound isolation (noisy cubicles!), comfortable for hours of use...
  17. Tried Chromium instead of Chrome since it supports extensions, but it's just too buggy.
  18. @csangos In Reston. Impulse purchase (doh!)
  19. Early Christmas! http://yfrog.com/3n7tinj
  20. Really liking Chrome for OSX. Don't think I'll be using it much without extensions though (lastpass, mouse gestures, etc.)
