  1. I'm so ready for some dry weather. I need to get more work done in the #garden, but its too muddy. *sigh* looking through the window!
  2. http://twitpic.com/4fxiv - The lettuce sure is loving the abundance of rain!
  3. http://twitpic.com/4fx1j - Standing water on 'Contender' Bush Beans. I hope the sun dries some of it up tomorrow!
  4. http://twitpic.com/4fwpy - Hubby is boxing in the gardens. It's really helping keep the grass out!
  5. Hubby is edging all my garden beds (yeah!) but rain is being an issue http://tinyurl.com/cop2yn The solution!
  6. Ok, 3 inches of rain in 2 days - it's a bit much for the garden! Had to raise the boxing to let it drain! Lettuce is loving it though!
  7. A few rows of seeds seem to have been washed away, so I'm planning on replacing with plants tomorrow. Seems less buggy this spring - YEAH!
  8. The garden seems to be doing well. Posted some new pics at www.midsouthgarden.blogspot.com
  9. @goodwolve Haven't been on much with the good weather. I was responding to your reply about replanting peas that chickens may have eaten!
  10. Praying for a little sunshine to dry up some of that rain so I can get the last wave of broccoli plants in this weekend!
  11. @goodwolve How late have you replanted them (in your region)? I'm afraid it'll be getting too warm here soon.
  12. Seeds aren't breaking through as soon as they should. Contemplating re-planting several of them.
  13. Finally put two kinds of peas in the garden. I know its late, but maybe I'll get a little something out of them.
  14. http://twitpic.com/2btvc - My secret weapon...My little garden helper!
  15. Trying to figure the best way to dig NARROW (like 2 inches wide) trench for 2X6 boards around a bed. Currently using a spade=slow work!
  16. Was able to get 1st batch of broccoli, 3 lettuces, onions and some spinach and lettuce seeds in this week. Terribly late for peas though!
  17. Hoping tomorrow will bring enough sunshine to get some of the plants and seeds out in the garden. Hoping 2 get supports put in 4 berries too
  18. @stargardener EEK, they certainly wouldn't be happy. I've been waiting for it to dry out here enough to get broccoli and peas in!
  19. @gardenorganic It's only about 7' tall in corner of yard. It couldn't damage anything, as there is nothing around it. Thanks for your help!
  20. @gardenorganic Would the tree continue to blossom with this? It started last year and still bloomed, has buds now. Is it a lost cause?
