  1. Family vacation begins so I am taking a sabbatical from Twitter and Facebook for a few days. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
  2. Just landed in ATL en route to GSP and home. A busy weekend awaits!
  3. Just about done at ETS. Heading back to hotel to pack and catch airport shuttle. Looking forward to being home!
  4. Last morning at ETS. Nice visit with doctoral student at SBTS soon to graduate. At AU we are filling a vacancy in biblical studies.
  5. Fla vacation trip starts Sunday. Just realized boys are still supposed to be in school Monday and Tuesday. Oops.
  6. Big dinner and long theological address. Man, these theologians know how to live! :-)
  7. Sitting with @jerrysutton and other Liberty folk at ETS banquet. President's address coming up,
  8. Getting ready to head to lunch with Mark Overstreet of Criswell College. A busy day here at ETS.
  9. Dinner tonight with Hal Poe - a friend since we met in line at seminary registration in 1975. Grilled snapper and great conversation.
  10. Enjoyed seeing old Union Univ colleagues at B&H breakfast here at ETS. Brad Green, Ray Van Neste, Greg Thornbury - a great group.
  11. Lunch with Larry Overstreet who just retired from NW Baptist Seminary. I'll be writing foreword for his next book.
  12. In session at ETS with panel on dialogue between Christians and Muslims. Al Mohler & John Piper on panel.
  13. Just got to New Orleans for ETS. On shuttle heading for JW Marriott and met a Twitter follower on bus, @speli . It's a small world.
  14. Off to the dentist for a new filling. One of life's little joys.
  15. Sitting at Wachovia waiting for the only officer to finish chatting so I can get something done.
  16. Looking forward to preaching both services tomorrow at Temple Baptist Church in Simpsonville, SC, where Brad Whitt is Pastor.
  17. Our youngest son got an important lesson at race: not everyone gets a trophy. Congratulate the winner and get ready for the next try.
  18. A good night of rest. Now off to get James from a Scout lockin, then take Stephen to Awana pinewood derby with cool car Grandpa helped build
  19. Friday afternoon and I am whipped and stressed. Weekends are a gift of God!
