  1. Nothing like starting a Couch to 5K running program to make you feel old and decrepit. Hand over the ibuprofen & nobody gets hurts.
  2. Today I considered the worst case scenario. And it was grim.
  3. Riding in the car, heading to Mars Hill for church minus one kid who slept over somewhere last night. Grateful it's not raining hard.
  4. @amysorrells - We will miss you. And I do believe I speak for the entire Internet. Have a good week!
  5. Oh my! So many people at the movie theater!
  6. I'm at the library, writing for the first time in a long time. Only downside is the "no drinks" rule...and the ones who talk out loud.
  7. Beware. I am super crabby. Like I won the Crabby Lotto on the day it was worth $237 million.
  8. RT @SaraJHenry: @MelodeeHelms Ah, the sock issue. See my next-to-last point. http://bit.ly/6mecwz ** That is exactly right. And congrats!
  9. Which brings up the question: Why do I keep socks I hate?
  10. I've reached a new low. I'm wearing unmatched socks. I couldn't find clean, matching socks--other than the rejects in my drawer I hate.
  11. Today is a half day of school. I realized that at 8:55 a.m. I'm always the last to know.
  12. Note to self: Please buy the Thanksgiving turkey so it has time to thaw and pick up some ingredients for side dishes, too. Love, Mel
  13. I cooked dinner! Roast, mashed potatoes, cauliflower, rolls (from a can--don't judge), gravy and chocolate pudding. You're welcome.
  14. One of my least favorite places to be: The video game store.
  15. Uh oh. I'm out of Diet Coke.
  16. The older I get, the less I want to get wet in the rain. I guess this phenomenon explains Arizona.
  17. I did not suffer a myocardial infarction while pedaling the Schwinn for exactly 38 minutes. It's a small start.
  18. Oh, shoot. I just remembered I promised myself I'd ride the exercise bike tonight. Okay, FINE.
  19. My 7-year old: Can you get married when you're 18? Me: Yes, but you should wait until you're 25. Her: I'm getting married when I'm 20.
  20. I wish Levi Johnston would disappear.
