  1. I just hate all the iPhone apps that stop your music w/o your permission to play their own crappy sounds. Devs, please don't do this!
  2. @ReedCopsey Unless a feature becomes deprecated in favor of some other construct, that's true.
  3. @ReedCopsey Overall, I have too agree. I think the mere fact that one has a "rule" about blindly not using a language element is crazy.
  4. @ReedCopsey The assumption that ordering is not guaranteed and it can be autoparallelized is a serious misunderstanding of the language.
  5. @ReedCopsey Yeah, I have mentioned this in several comments. Without knowing the underlying collection, you can't predict the performance.
  6. @ReedCopsey Some answers actually cover this by mentioning `Enumerable.Range` as the `foreach` styled `for` loop.
  7. @ReedCopsey That's a long discussion. Which part of it, exactly?
  8. r @jalfd Whatever it might be, it doesn't include C# foreach statement http://bit.ly/77gVxq
  9. Oh God... Some people really misunderstand what functional programming means. I totally blame C# for that.
  10. RT @lazycoder: 100k apps=80k tap tap revenge band x & epic big boob bikini "apps" 15k book "apps" leaving ~5k real apps << sooo true
  11. @JohnMacIntyre I've heard some "architects" use Cloud Computing in place of Service Oriented Architecture.
  12. Laptop just fell off from desk. Could grab it immediately in the air. Disaster prevented but my hand was hurt.
  13. @Perspx Yeah, I guess it's roughly the time to stop supporting IE6 for most projects of that kind, specially if they target power users.
  14. @Perspx It may be true; however, In some Web solutions I've been involved with, IE6 was a "requirement" stated by the client. No choice.
  15. @Perspx well... it costs "customers", you know!
  16. Software Engineering: The art of calculating the optimal time to start to maximize procrastination while meeting deadlines. :)
  17. RT @BenAlabaster: @MehrdadA Great SO quote for that: "When I coded this, only God and I knew what I was doing, now God only knows"
  18. Adding features to a year old program I was responsible for: "Why on earth it's coded like this? - svn blame - Oh... it was me."
  19. @marcgravell Congrats! It's been an impressive job to reach 100k.
  20. @Perspx You mean they have patented the idea of torturing users with arbitrary delays? :))
