Gap between page content and footer. page content's changed (flash replacement). Footer left abandoned. Need IE6 to trigger a re-flow/redraw

IE6 is not re-drawing the footer once part of the content has been replaced. Leaving a massive gap. Anyone know how to force IE re-draw?
