  1. Listening to my daughter beg me to get off the computer so she can snuggle with me. Isn't it way past her bedtime????
  2. Listening to worship music--it always does my soul good.
  3. They are benign vascular liver tumors. Lovely.
  4. I also have been doing some reading on liver hemangiomas--prelim report speculates that these masses on my liver might be these.
  5. Feeling pretty crappy still. Missed my GI's call but she'll be calling back in the morning. I see my Internal med. doc 2morrow @ 4:30.
  6. Now that I think about it though, if his blood's clean, they'd still have to make sure the PICC is clean too. Hopefully it will be.
  7. But if the new cultures are infected, we'll have 2 go back & be admitted 4 a course of IV antibiotics & we would lose his PICC line. Pray!
  8. These new results will be back 2morrow. If they are clean, we may be done with this issue, thankfully.
  9. We got to come home 'cause Gav isn't acting like he has a blood infection. They gave him a dose of IV antibotics and repeated the cultures.
  10. Please pray that he won't become septic!
  11. We're being admitted at Miller Childrens Hospital for IV antibiotics.
  12. I'm heading back to the ER with Gavin because Tuesdays blood cultures revealed that he has a blood infection.
  13. Home from a looooooooooooooong day at the hospital. It was rough but things are fine now--thank God!
  14. It can't come soon enough, because he had the worst reaction last night. Please pray for him during anesthesia today. Yikes.
  15. is on her way back to the hospital so her son can have surgery to put in a new PICC line.
  16. Then I am off to fill the steroid prescription since Gavin has to take 30 mg of steroids 24 hours before anesthesia procedures.
  17. Headed back to the ER--we left Gavin's medical folder there. Oops. Surgery is scheduled to put in a new line tomorrow--we're doing it.
  18. I feel like I was run over by a MAC truck, but that's a different story.
  19. Gavin's feeling great this morning--I have no idea what that was last night but I am glad it's gone!
  20. We're home after 14 hours at the hospital! Fever is down and white count is normal. Preliminary blood cultures will be back tomorrow.
