  1. @LBugnion yeah, I have it too. What I am saying is that other people do not have it in their GAC when they join the project.
  2. Just finished another @CodeCast recording. Went well. I am happy :-)
  3. @LBugnion yeah, but when someone joins that project in source control, there is no way to get that assembly.
  4. @timheuer That is what I built for myself, actually.
  5. I really miss the ASP.NET Silverlight control in SL3. It was very handy when the code behind had to change parameters pre-load.
  6. @bschorr and yes, things do normally start in a second or two. Even apps that handle hundreds of GB of data do.
  7. @bschorr It's a new file. Still opening, btw. Problem is that Outlook gets exponentially slower as the file grows. Always been like that.
  8. @bschorr FYI: I was forced 2 reboot my machine abt 50 mins ago. Outlook is still opening. ths is a LOT slower than 07 was. Optimized or not.
  9. @tedneward /secret/ the hair. But then you know all about that :-)
  10. @KevinHazzard /RD territory/ I don't think most RDs have real territories anymore. I am "global", I guess :-)
  11. @bschorr Mine has been lke that for years. Granted, my OST file is like 18GB, but still. Why would it take more than a second to open?!?
  12. Hey, looks like I am really close to becoming a Microsoft Regional Director.
  13. @bschorr depends on the machine. 4GB and 8GB.
  14. @bschorr Outlook always takes that long for me. I just tend to keep a lot of data in it, as I do not like to delete business correspondence.
  15. Hoping today is the day that we can finish (or get very close) to release first @CodeMagazine content for Kindle.
  16. @bschorr I understand that it's a CTP, but I vry srsly doubt they will switch 2 a difft db 4 release. & ths cnt just B optimized.
  17. @bschorr Opening Outlook routinely takes 30+ minutes for me.
  18. @bschorr It simply isn't good enough, and even if I agreed with your reasons, I would not care from a consumer's point of view.
  19. @bschorr The point is that it is ridiculous that it takes any software minutes our hours to handle tens of thousands of records.
  20. OK Twitterverse. It's after midnight again and I think I am done working for the day. See you all bright and early tomorrow at 9 (or so) :-)
